ALBEROBELLO is situated upon two hills, once separated by a riverbed. The western hill is covered by one-thousand-and-one TRULLIs spread in the tortuos streets of the town. A trullo is a construction of ancient origin made of calcareous rocks. Thanks to an ingenious inner tube that conditions the environment, trullo is a cool place during the summer and warm during the winter.
