We are visiting Brindisi for 1/2 a day in July, any suggestions for things to do, places to visit, how good is public transport and where could we get to and from in this short time
www.brindisiweb.com on this site (in english too) you can find some informations about the places to visit, some restaurants of pizzerie where is possible to eat and others information.
If you have a car i can suggest you to spend your time at Torre Guaceto. Sets to 17 kms. to north in Brindisi, easily attainable thanks to the SS 379, the place of Torre Guaceto represents a small jewel of the coast brindisina. Important from the naturalistic, scientific and archaeological point of view. The name Guaceto derives from the Arabic GAWSIT, that wants to say "place of sweet water".
