Travel from Rome to Brindisi
What options does one have to get to Brindisi from Rome (and back)? I want to meet some friends in Corfu while I am travelling in Italy.

Would help if you indicated the time you wanted to arrive there (for ferry sailing?) and return, but EuroStar Italia trains can get you there in about 6 1/2 hours, otherwise you would have to change in Ancona when it can take 8 1/2. See http://bahn.hafas.de/bin/query.exe/en or of course trenitalia.

There are two options: by train or by airplane.
By airplane you can fly from Rome-Fiumicino (FCO) to Brindisi (BDS) with two company:
- air one ( www.flyairone.it/en/ )
- alitalia ( www.alitalia.com)
