Piccolo Hotel: Shabby, retro (neglected?)

Very old school. But for 53 Euro a night it's not bad.
No A/C and an average breakfast.

The not-touched since 1969 feel. Check out the switchboard system, it looks like something from the Cold War combined with the Bat Phone.

Sa Stella E Monti: Marrubiu

We always rent a car when traveling in Italy, and our one main concern having a car in Italy is to find a parking. During our trip in Sardinia, we done some research of accommodation in the island. The island is lack of hotels, what we found most that Sardinia has plenty of B&Bs. Even in B&B there is no parking lot, but at least there is a place where you can park your car near the room

This B&B lies outside the center, we use our car GPS all the time but once we were close to the address of this place our GPS can't find it anymore that was weird. So, again we tried typing the correct address but still no luck, no sign board of B&B

We have to stop and ask. The people know this B&B. When we arrived it was very dark and late, the owner thoughts we're not coming anymore. We explain to her about being lost and our GPS didn't find the address, and she said I'm gonna put a signboard on the main road

The owner was very friendly, welcoming. She speak a very little English, but she is better in French speaking. The area is very quiet is good if you like to have a good night's rest. The room were decent and spacious and double bed. Television is present and we also have wireless internet in our room which was good enough for us

Around the B&B is really nothing, if you want to have some drinks the center is about 7 km. We arrive in the dark so, we didn't see the backyard. The next morning we walk around and this house has a big backyard. Breakfast fresh made by the lady owner, such as apple cake, biscuits and some other yummy. She have only three rooms so, the breakfast room isn't big also. The B&B is good if you have a car, and if you also prefer the quietness

Great backyard and friendliness of the owner
