Hotel Rubiedda

The Hotel Rubiedda is a lovely little oasis in this part of Sardinia. The hotel is modern, clean and efficient and the staff is SUPERB. The restaurant is Magnificent. If you want to experience a bountiful, and high quality meal at a fair price, this is an excellent place to be.

Unique Quality: This spotless restaurant prepares excellent highest quality meals in the traditional coastal and central sardinian styles. The Cipollina family who run the restaurant and hotel originally ran the acclaimed Il Giunco Restaurant in Calasetta. Here, they prepare the same highest quality delicious seafood along with traditional sardinia land based fare of grilled meats, cheeses etc. The Pillau..a kind of Sardinian paella is outstanding and worth the trip alone. Add to this the SUPERB hospitality and you will find it is well worth it to take a detour for this spot. Tell them that Giampiero from America sent you and you will get the royal treatment! I have eaten truly memorable feasts here on a number of occasions and its the high point of many of my trips to Sardinia.
