Crystal or water?
"Dive, tan, crystal water, roasted meat and sunsets"
Many people may say the sea in Sardinia is great. Once you get there you will scream inside saying "great is not the right word: there is no word". The island is scattered with points of interest for many, not all kinds of travellers but on one thing it cannot go wrong and it's the beaches. Of course I have not discoverd warm water by saying this, but I wish everyone could get a six night friend full experience there. The trip is great with a wild bunch of friends and all hours of the day and night were busy either cooking, diving, beachvollying and shooting pictures. The natural reserve of Chia, around the town of Pula makes it even more interesting and wildlife is quiet but stunning. Flowers mazes and sun beaten paths to ancient turrets make it adventurous whereas in 45 minutes drive you can be in busy Cagliari, the major city of the Island. I figure spring or fall is great for cyclists and divers. Take a ride on a boat to visit the hidden shores and to get away from high tech life (if you left any behind).

If your friends had enough sandwiches, if you have no kids wining to go home and run to the tv, if you do not have faxes to send off, if there is no reason whatsoever to leave the beach because the frisbee is still spinning, the water is still warm and the good peole around you are speaking about life and laughing and talking serenely and the horizon is flat and no more than 10 people are scattered on the long beach, then stay where you are!
