Unique in its style

I haven't stayed there but I visited it and found everthing oustandingly excellent with a very important exception: the beach. It is mainly rocky and very narrow and nothing compared to Villasimius' public beaches. Considering the extraordinary beauty of the place (and the price) I had expected a wonderful beach. There are only 48 rooms, garden or sea front. The restaurant service has no buffet.
Prices for 2008: from 120 to 280 euro pro person in half board, depending on the season

Unique Quality: It's really very intimate and relaxing; the only noises are the sea and the birds

this is a typical fly & drive tips I would like to post for those traveller who,like me, like to eat well, stay away from mass tourism and live the nature all in charming hotels: Arrival in Olbia and 3 overnights at hotel Pellicano D'Oro, Costa Smeralda is very near and day boat excursion to la Maddalena suggested. drive from Pittulongu to oliena,2 ovenrights at Su Gologone, best place to eat great sardinian food and to make day excursion to Tiscali (nuragical village) and long wal in the nature (mountains). Drive through SS 125, stunning internal road lost in the middle of wild nature, to arrive to Villasimius , suggested hotel Cala Caterina , peaceful and relaxing hotel , exursion suggested Barumini and Gesturi and Cagliari. departure from Cagliari
