Hotel Talao

With my family I've chosen this hotel following some interesting information found on a couple of websites about Calabria and its natural resorts. We discovered that this part of the italian coast is called Riviera dei Cedri 'cause cedar-trees are a characteristic tree of this area. We're also looking for a good location for visiting the Pollino National Park, an interesting natural park with a lot of incontaminated locations with wild vegetation. Hotel Talao was our first choice and I'm very satisfied of it. It's located on the coast, few steps from the sea. It offer rooms and cottages and apartments with a lot of sports and outdoor activities. We stay there for two weeks and my children were always on the beach (the hotel have a private beach) or at the pool (in the park of the hotel). From the hotel there is a comfortable shuttle bus service to the train station and another to the local welness center. We spent two relaxing weeks in a very comfortable and enchanting piece of the Tyrrenhian Coast (not too much crawded).

Unique Quality: The hotel has a very good restaurant inside and the children care facilities and opportunities are another strong points. From the hotel you can easily visit the Pollino National Park. They organize many excursions and when you don't want to go to the beach you can try several good natural sightseeing itineraries!
