La Locanda B&B: in the old house

La Locanda is B&B placed in historical part of town yet by the regional road and the railway. If you pass the house you'll notice the sign but if you want to park in less busy place you'll have to drive in town frist and then into narrow side streets to get in front of the house - which is a bit tricky to find from inside of the town and I got lost first time because I was driving too far from it and had to turn around in front of the rock.
The place is indeed lovely and safe, in old house with charming balconies and simple furniture. Rooms have TV, AC and fridge and spotlessly clean bathroom. Their dining room is a bit small but we were staying out of main season and there weren't many guests so we had almost all kitchen for ourself. Staff is very friendly and helpful and can give you good advice on where to go for good dinner - but not all of them can speak English.
We paid about 25 Euro per person and we were staying in a room for 3 people. We didn't make reservation in advance - it may be necessary in high season, since they have few rooms only.
The only drawback with that place isthat you get disturbed by the noisy train in night - and that's very important because it's so loud. See if your room face railway and you may want to ask to change it into quiter one - those which face old town.
