I have written a Tip located under Aci Castello, so this is to direct you there. It is a good place to see the Rocks and the Coast. We got there by car-- S, on SS114, 9 km. Aci Castello is a dense community(11K pop) with no interest in tourism. I am sure a bus runs along the towns from Aci Reale down to Catania and you would have to walk about 1 km to the sea.
