This hotel caters mainly to businesspeople. It's nicely located, 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 5 minutes from Via Etnea. It's comfy and quiet, even though I had some problems with the air conditioning (it was April and the rooms were suffocatingly hot). Overall I recommend it even though the price may be a bit steep.
The restaurant is a class of its own. The professional maitre and sommelier will welcome you into an airy and elegant aisle, facing an internal courtyard. The offer from the kitchen is largely and rightly based on local products, enriched with some gems from the rest of the world (including continental Italy). The preparation is stylish and emphasizes the flavours of the basic ingredients and their excellent quality.
The wine list is classy and obviously focuses on the local offer. Some gems alongside some well-known and safe labels. Nice one on that!
Portions are pretty small, and prices are quite high, so don't expect to have a heavy wallet on the way out.
