The huge double rooms are stylish fitted with quality furniture, and are part of a multi-room suite with its own spacious dining room and kitchenette.
There is no bar or retaurant except for the small breakfast room - it is arranged as self-catering apartments, but of a very high class. I can't imagine anyone actually cooking there.
The hotel was once a glass factory, hence the name. A few yards away is the Castello Ursino and a short walk takes you to bars and restaurants favoured by locals. Via Etna, with its parading pedestrians and a large choice of shops and restaurants, is a gentle stroll.
Great for small group independent travellers who want a little bit of unique style.
Huge Rooms, quality furnishings, air conditioning. .
