 Sheraton Catania Hotel by STEFZAMM
Being situated on the outskirst and on the promenade it offers rooms with front balconies / terraces and sea views.
It is also very modern and clean.

| Sheraton Catania: Beautiful accomodations with private sea access

The Sheraton Catania was the first hotel in Italy that upgraded us because we were on our honeymoon. We were given one of their suites reserved for preferred customers and were brought free champage, pistaccios and other nuts. The suite was large, with a couch, coffe table and chairs to the right of the room, the bathroom, queen sized bed and desk to the left. At the far end of the room was a small patio with two patio chairs and a small table that looked out to the pool and sea.
The hotel had several bars, restaurants (which had an amazing buffett breakfast in the morning), pool, gym, tennis court and private access to the sea. I could have stayed here a week and never left the hotel. I'm hoping to actually do that someday.
The pool was simply beautiful. While in the pool you can look right out at the sea. Beautiful and peaceful. There is a small bar by the pool and access to the restaurant. By obtaining a key from the front desk you can access the sea via an passageway that runs under the street to the sea. There are chairs in the shade as well as in the sun if you'd like to get tan. There are two ways to access the sea. To the right stairs lead down to the rocky bottomed water. To the left an area where you can dive into safe, deep water. Beware that as the stairs to the right lead into the water stepping off the next to last step was over my head, which is about 5'9" from the ground. Be careful if you have children who are not well acquainted with the ocean.
