A tourist bunker
Because the tunnel under the railway line leading to our hotel was blocked with water from the heavy rainfall, our chauffeur had to find his way through dark alley ways to get there. There were no signs and we were lost until a kindly local person took pity on us and led us to our destination.
The food here was monotonous and because it was buffet style it was always cold by the time you reached your table. However, there was plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. The bread left much to be desired. The beach (manmade) was full of rocks and it was difficult to get into as it slooped quite steeply into the sea. The garden and surroundings were green and tropical but the pool was very shallow.
You had to pay a deposit of 20€ and 5€ for the laundry. I found this quite ridiculous to pay 5€ for laudering.
The rooms were spacious but our bathroom was flooded in the end lucky for us on the last day because the front desk didnt seem to be too interested.
