"Cefalu"
A lovely village about 70 km east of Palermo, with a nice center of narrow streets at the foot of "La Rocca".
"Climbing La Rocca"
It takes about an hour to hike up to the top of La Rocca. At the first gate you'll need to pay an entrance fee and then you can continue to hike up to the top. As you pass the Temple of Diana there's not much to see, you can continue to zigzag your way up to the top. Walking around the top you will have a beautiful view over Cefalu on one side and the harbour and the Kalura peninsula on the other side. Make sure you go early in the morning as it can get very hot, and bring a bottle of water with you!
