The Hotel Sabbie D'Oro is well-situated immediately across the road from the beach, and has its own area of it (entry free to residents, but several euros for a pair of sunbeds and a sun umbrella). It was quite smart and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were generally friendly and helpful.
However, the positive aspects of it were, unfortunately, outweighed by its negative aspects, including noisy and ineffective air-conditioning, lack of any view from the bedroom and noise from the narrow passageway below our bedroom window if we left the window open at night. The food was of a reasonable quality at the beginning of our stay but deteriorated towards the end of it.

View from Giardini Naxos
Indoor & Outdoor dining at Rendezvous
When we visit Giardini Naxos, we tend to do nothing but laze around on the beach all day. This non activity is only punctuated with a walk to the nearest restaurant for lunch - then back to the beach. That said, the beaches are spotlessly clean and it shelves very gradually, making seabathing quite safe.
