Milazzo's entry in the bad hotel category!

This place, plain and simple, was bloody awful! As I mentioned in the intro, we arrived fairly late at night and it was dark. We had a choice between this hotel and the Hotel California opposite which I really wished I'd opted for at the time but Andy was put off by a mad woman accosting him on the street for his business! The room was large (as stated in the Rough Guide Sicily) but the decor of the hotel was straight out of the 1970s something like a seedy knocking shop! I didn't see any other guests at all - no surprise there then. The bathrooms were down the corridor and equally grim. The price, although relatively cheap, did not reflect the standard of accommodation. In short: don't bother!

Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
