Hotel Palazzo Failla

The hotel management and the owners, Mr & Mrs. Failla could not do enough to make our stay memorable. We were looking for relatives and had only a 25 year old picture to go on. Eveyone in the hotel joined in our quest. Mrs. Failla looked at the picture and realized that one of the people in the picture was Archbishop Stracquadanio, who we latter found out was a cousin. She called him and he came to the hotel to meet us. It was truly an amazing experience. Maddalena at the front desk acted as an interpreter since we could not speak Italian. She came with us and the Archbishop to meet family members and to translate . There are no words to describe our gratitude for all she did for us. She is truly an asset to the hotel.

Unique Quality: The hotel is a beautiful 18Th. centruy building with magnificent antique furniture. Our room was absoultely beautiful.It had antique furniture and beautiful stone floors as well as a charming balcony. It was in a central location. An amazing breakfast was included in the price. Cafe Blandini was great for a light lunch or snack. For dinner there was La Gazza Ladra. Truly a five star restaurant. Luigi couldn't do enough for us.
