Travel Tips for Noto
landscape between Noto and Noto antica

Those grassy slopes, large soft shapes of stones and fences of stone put one on another very tight - that makes it interesting landscape between Noto and Noto Antica. Make a short ride out of city on road almost deserted. It's worth to stop for while.
In the bottom of hills there are green trees, by small river or stream. Water! What a difference that makes in almost dry countryside. Slopes - only here and there small bushes strike out of the soil. Must have been pasture land here before if only strongest of plants survived. And then there are different colors of stones, say almost pink.
I found that flora particularly interesting - for how it forms and how it grows on little soil available. What patterns and hues!
