Good location, good rates

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on December 7, 2011

We choose this hotel for the very convenient location, 500 meter from the train station, it is also easy to reach from the airport as the bus Prestia e Comandè stop in front of the station.
It is located in a liberty building and it uses the last two floors. A door keeper sit 24h at the main entrance giving a very safe feeling.
The rooms are spacious and have been recently restored, the furniture are new and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also big and provided with all the necessary toilet supply.
Our one had a wide windows that opened on a small terrace.
Breakfast was served at the top floor, it was a great selection of local products, bread, jam, cheese, salami, several different home made cake, cereals and all kind of hot beverages. It was possible to eat indoor or in the wonderful terrace.
The only problem about this hotel is that there are a few bars and night clubs around it and some night it was very noisy despite the double windows. I would suggest to bring ear plugs.
The staff was very helpful and professional.
I found it cheaper booking through their site.

Unique Quality: The terrace at the top floor is outstanding! It allow a unbeatable 360 degree view over the city center and it is the perfect location to enjoy breakfast in the morning, a tea or coffee in the afternoon or a relaxing drink after dinner. It is very well cared with lots of green, table and various seating.
It was certainly the biggest quality of Hotel Ambasciatori!

Directions: From the train station walk down via Roma for a few blocks, the hotel is on the right.
