My preferred in Palermo
Great hotel, intimate, refined and warm. In the very heart of Palermo, near Marina Square, the port, Via Vittorio Emanuele, you can just get out the hotel and find whatever you like. Popular quarter like Monte di Pietà (between Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Volturno) with street food sellers (they cook the food in the street too, and it is very good), and the aristocratic atmosphere of Marina Square and its old-fashioned restaurants and bars.
