People usually drive or, better put, rush through this cozy city on the way to Villa Romana, which unfortunately overshades Piazza Armerina.
Though I bet it worth spending at least a couple of hours wondering along the steep narrow streets.... Duomo is beautiful and set hight above the town, seen from far away.... Near Duomo there is a square with benches, the square is actually on a top of the hill, so you can enjoy splendid views over the valley...
