Mosaics - A roman art
On a daytrip from Cefalu to Agrigento we took the chance to stop by Piazza Armerina with its beautiful Villa Romana Casale. The house itself is not existing anymore, but here the foor is what counts! The whole floor of the building is covered with mosaics showing scenes of life and farrytales of the roman times. It is no wonder that this place is one of the sites on the list of world heritages by UNESCO.
There is not much to write as you will find a great page explaining about this place by clicking here.
