Hi, are you actually looking for a hotel in Siracusa? Otherwise, you are better off posting this in the Palermo forum since that's where Punta Raisi is. Then more "Palermo knowing" people have the chance to see it. :-) It's not the most pleasant area of Palermo is all I know.

Just love this sky/sea line of Ortygia, this island has a lot of small harbours along its sea front, some of them are like hide away corners, some are turned into public beaches, but all in all they are different and worth to explore....
This Piazza is the biggest pearl in the necklace called Ortygia. Beautiful building with majestic front elevations including Palazzo Beneventano del Bosco (with nice courtyard), Palazzo del Senato and Church of St Lucia.
The nowadays building of Dumo occupies the territory, which was sacred and used for warships from Antiquity. There was a Greek temple dedicated to Athena. Then after several centuries it was incorporated into Christian church.
