Teatro Greco - Greek Theater by vysnaite
It's an ancient Greek theather, more archeological site, but some festivals are still held in there for special occassions. Sicily has a history shared with ancient Greek and some arabian world, so you will find a lot of Ancient World , especially greek ruins (e.g. Valley of temples in Agrigento). Ancient or Greek theather no doubts is one of the basis of Taorminian pride and identity. It's the most famous theather of that kind after Siracusa. It was built in 6th century by greeks, later changed by romans. Now Its diameter reaches 109 meters.
