I would not recommend this hostel despite its cheap price unless you are very young and don't know what a decent place is or are desperate for the last free bed in town. The woman is simply trying to take advantage of her house being next to a fancy hotel. Granted it's in a quiet residential district, but is about 30 minutes walk when dragging luggage from the bus station (I did it twice), and is hard to find. It is also far from any restaurant, bar or market. The house itself is old, shabby, and ugly. And not clean. The beds were horrible old bunks that swayed nearly to the floor when I sat down and the rooms were so crowded that it was hard to move around. They weren't clean and the bathrooms were also poor. The bedroom curtains were simply rags barely hanging. There were signs all over about things NOT to do. The young girl in attendance was new and didn't seem to realize the poor condition. I felt awful there and left early. There weren't even any views except from the little eating room balcony, but it was unconducive to sitting.
