Transport Taormina-Pozzallo
Hello,
i need transport from Taormina to Pozzallo (to take the catamaran). what is the best way? train? bus?

I would take the train. The journey time varies from 3.75 hours to 5.50 hours and there are regular services to Pozzallo from Taormina.
You will have to change either once or twice, dependant upon which service you use. Trains to Pozzallo go via Catania/Siracusa or Siracusa.
The cost should be around 13 euros.

Taormina - A very short stay!
"Bright, Sunny and Cheerful Location"
My stay in Taormina lasted only 2 days. I arrived on a Friday and i left the enchanting location on Sunday. Although I was there in September, the weather was extremely warm - the high for both days was 30 and 33 degrees celsius respectively. In the evening, it usually cools down.
"Accommodation"
Getting to the hotel was quite tricky. Most of the hotels are usually situated at the top of Taormina. We landed in Catania and we therefore had to take a bus from Catania to Taormina. The trip lasted approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. The bus will stop you at the bus station in Taormina. You can then either walk to the hotel or take a taxi from the station itself. People there are usually very friendly - you can also ask at the ticket booth for assistance. They will be able to advise you on whether you should find the hotel on foot or take a taxi.
"Corso Umberto"
The most popular street in Taormina is Corso Umberto. There are usually many tourists shopping. Shopping in Taormina is expensive. If you have time, it might be a good idea to go down to Catania to do your shopping. It is usually cheaper. Buses usually run from Taormina to Catania.
