Vila Giglio in Arsago Seprio: Clean, neat and new

The facilities were brand new, clean and neat. We rented a room for the six of us that had a double bed that opened in the main room, a loft with another double bed and a seperate bedroom. The only negative point was when we arrived it turns out that the owner/operator does not reside at the place, so the gate was closed and locked. We called and he arrived in about 10 minutes, not a major setback.
The grounds, being walled and fenced are a perfect place for families with kids and as I said it was spotless. The owner is also the head of the dining room at the Tre Leoni Hotel/Restaurant in the nearby town of Somma Lombardo where we went to eat and got a 15% discount.

Unique Quality: The breakfast is plain and simple, just enough to get you going in the morning. A yogurt, jam on a bun, coffee or tea, some spreads, a small desert cake, things like that. The dining area is tiny, 4 small tables for 2, so the food is in the next room, but sufficient if everyone is not there at the same time, as you can see we took up half the room.
The rates are reasonable, but higher than we had paid in other places, but the location is perfect for flying from the Milan Airport.
