Best Western Hotel Alpi, Bolzano, Italy - Reviews and Hotel Information

I was supposed to stay at the Park Lauren and circumstances landed me at the BW Alpi. Later, when I compared notes with my friend, I started thinking I may have gotten the better deal. Okay, there's no glamor here - things are a bit sparse, the decor isn't great, and the health center is in an different hotel ... but use of it is free.

If you don't like smoke, avoid the smoking floors with as much distance as possible - I couldn't believe how strong the odor was.

Here are the 2 things that would lure me back: The breakfast buffet is lovely. Delicious coffe, hot croissant, a selection of fruit, meat and cheese, cereal, a couple juices ... I was put in a good mood every morning. And, perhaps most important, every member of the staff was smiling, friendly and welcoming. I wanted pictures of the desk personnel because they had made such a positive impact on my stay. How often do you say that about a hotel?

The friendly nature of the staff is definitely unique. Having their health center in a hotel that's on the other side of the Waltherplatz is another.
