Wish I had read this web site before booking my stay at this dump. Their website looks great, but I had a similar experience to the other reviewer who also got cheated. While the lobby was clean and tidy, the room was filthy and in tremendous disrepair. And when I asked for a clean room with a working shower, I was told to leave (which we did) but we lost our full pre-paid week's payment and "refundable" deposit. We should have known given the location.
We moved downtown to the Laurin Hotel (which was only !0 euros more per might) and a lovely place in the centre of a lovely town. Avoid Park Werth, it is a scam with unfortunately good advertising.
Directions: Grimmy, seedy looking, industrial area a good 45 minute drive from Bolzano (which is the closest interesting place).
This is a very rundown, unmaintained hotel that is a good 45 minutes from downtown Bolzano in the deserted and unsafe "industrial park" area.
The owners require cash upfront, including an additional cash deposit of 50% of your bill which they tell you in email will be refunded upon checkout if there is no damage to your room. When we checked out, they changed their story and told me this was part of the price and nonrefundable. We were at the checkout with two other couples who were having the same (or worse) problems.
I have attached pictures of our room which was disgusting. The red stains on the carpet, which one would assume were tomato sauce or red wine in a normal place, looked suspiciously like blood given the condition of the room and location.
This place should be out of business.
Directions: Dank, crime infested Industrial Park area very far from pretty Bolzano city centre.
