Overpriced and horrible

Beautiful exterior, ugly interior, food awful, staff rude, rooms horrible, location superb. Don't go there!

Bad Hotel

The Hotel Sole in Riva on Lake Garda is picture-postcard beautiful, but the reality is ugly. The staff are rude and unfriendly and extremely unhelpful, the accommodation, unless you pay a fortune for a room with a lake view, is shabby. If you are unfortunate enough to get a room in the annexe, then you are in for a really bad time: the rooms are a third of the size of the others, the face out into a courtyard full of the smell of old cooking, the fire exits are dangerous, etc etc. Horrible place.
