As perfect as it is to ski Sella Ronda or better in Val Gardena during the winter months, how is the snow condition in March? Does anyone have any first hand experience?

I agree it is perfect, we were there last February. My guess it will be fine through March but lower runs could start showing wear and tear. Possibly the Sella Ronda might not be skiable in its entirety.
In over 20 years of skiing it seems to me that the mid station of any resort is usually where the snow is guaranteed and upwards. Below here you are relying on good snowfall.
Particularly enjoyed the Sass Long downhill course and the snowboard park to the left of Selva.
We have been there for many, many times in the first or even second week of march and we ALWAYS could ski the whole Sella Ronda. Most slopes are still in a very good condition in march.
Have fun and enjoy, it's a very beautiful part of Italy!
We found these beautiful flowers along the path just outside the hotel as we were taking an early morning walk before breakfast. This is the type of thing many people miss seeing, they are very small and you have to stop to look
Well when faced with an intriguing situation I go explring and climbed up to the ruins odf the castle.
Many stairs later I reached the high point with a view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. But first I was greeted by , wait for it a young goat, which posed for a photo, see next shot.
