It was interesting for me (I studied also Norwegian language and literature and Norway is one of my favourite countries) to find in the village Gossensass (a few km above Sterzing on the road to the Brenner pass) this sign and at a house at this square a memorial plate. Henrik Ibsen, one of the most important Norwegian writers, passed quite many holidays here. I am sure he enjoyed it very much. (at his time nobody in this village understood Italian, it was all Austria).
