Ralserhof Agriturismo: Valle di Vizze
A self catering farm in Avenes, Val di Vizze. 10 minutes away from Vipiteno centre. A place I would recommend to anyone going there.
Apartment is extremely clean and equipped with everything with excellent central heating, washing machine and nice views from terrace.
Kitchen - equipped with Gas hob, electric oven, large table for 6, water glasses, wine glasses, beer glasses, anything you will need for a comfortable stay.
Bedrooms - 2 double bedrooms

Hotel Zoll: Excellent Value For Money
Hotel Zoll is located a bit out of town. It consists of an older main building and a recently added building offering more modern amenities. The hotel seems to be particularly popular with bikers touring the Alpine passes. Excellent breakfast with all the South Tyrolean goodies like delicious bread with herbs, smoked ham/bacon.... mmmmh, delicious!
Unique Quality: Partial disabled access in the new building. My room was large, almoust a suite with a stylish bathroom.

Pfitscherjochhaus: A typical Alpine Lodge at the Pfitscherjoch
Pfitscherjochhaus is a quite typical representative for tha Alpine lodges which in an excellent network stretch out all over the Alps and are seldom more than a half day's hike distant from each other (the closest ones around here are the Landshuter Europahuette (exactly at the frontier), the Hochfeilerhuette (see the Hochfeiler tip) and the Dominikushuette (at the artificial Schlegeis lake in Austria).
Unique Quality: The Pfitscherjochhaus offers the usual accommodation of such lodges, mostly rooms with 4 or more sleeping places and common toilets and showers.
There is also a restaurant on self-service base.
These lodges are usually open from late June to September.
