The loveliest place and the loveliest people

My young family stayed at Patrignone last week and it was by far the best part of our holiday. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (Caminetto) which was charming, clean (at least, it was when we arrived!) and perfectly adequate for our 5-night stay. The owners Simon and Verity were very helpful and provided us with most of the stuff we needed so that we didn't need to worry about high-chairs and cribs. The pool wasn't open yet (it was sunny but still chilly) but the views from the pool area are amazing.

We were very well look after, given lots of tips and pointers (restaurants, cunning parking spots in Siena and Florence, great wineries) and felt completely at home once we'd settled in.

I will definitely be back but I think next time we'll try and stay longer, 10 days or a couple of weeks. They are perfectly positioned for day trips all over Tuscany, and the place is so beautiful I could have spent days just out wandering around Patrignone with the kids.

Lovely.

Unique Quality: The views are amazing, there was lots of stuff to do with the kids (feed the fish, play in the sand, play with the doggies), and the pool looks like it'll be lovely when the weather gets warmer.
