"Verazzano Castle Wine Cellar"
The Castle of Verrazzano is located on a hilltop in the Chianti Classico area, the first grape growing and wine producing area in the world to be determined by an official proclamation, made by the grand Duke Cosimo III de' Medici in 1716.
At Verrazzano wild boars are like a symbol. According to the tradition the name derives from verres, the alpha male wild boar. Therefore Verrazzano would mean "land of wild boars".
It is here we are having lunch, olive oil and wine tasting.

We had a tour of Castle of Verrazzano. The wild boar was only on the wall - we did not see a live one.
