We are going back to Certaldo in 2009 and noticed when we were there in 2006 that someone was extensively renovating the building near the funicular.
However, I can not find any rental information on those apartments.
Does anyone know anything about those apartments?

Edit: it was 2004, not 2006 that we saw those apartments being renovated.

We stayed at one of these new apartment in 2009 and it was very, very good. I say new but of course they are inside of an old, old building. Certaldo Alto is described well on their web site; click on the flag for English version.

They have an off site employee that speaks English so emails come from her. I recommend these apartments highly. Regards, PeterCac
When you walk through the small village of Certaldo Alto you will see that the citizens take a real pride in their home. People will be out sweeping and dressing up the front of their home. You will also see window boxes of flowers. Be sure and stop and tell the people how nice their home looks. You will make a friend and they will be happy to talk with you.
