Ostello San Marco

This is one of the nicer hostels I've stayed in, and has plenty of atmosphere! Housed in what I believe was once a monastery, many original details have been well-preserved, especially in the spacious common room complete with elegant stone arches and long wooden tables.

While there are quite a few beds per room, the hostel is well-maintained, clean, and quiet. The management is especially nice and accomodating for a hostel.

Unique Quality: Monastery building, great views at night

Directions: From the bus drop-off facing upwards, take a sharp right uphill. It's a rough road to hoe with a backpack, but it's the shorest route. At the 2nd small street to your left, take it and go up some stairs. At the top, turn right and walk about a block.
