We were here for some days, and had arrived by train in Firenze.
Getting to Fiesole with local transport is not a big problem.
Being in Fiesole you do have a problem. The hotel is outside of the village. (On Google earth, the location is not correct!)
Busconnections to the hotel are scarce, and unreliable.
For visitors without a car that is very important ofcourse.

From the hotel to Fiesole, where the busses to Firenze are, was the same problem.
Although it is claimed that there is a bus passing at the hotel every hour, this is not at all true. And since the timetable is unreliable one did not know to wait another 10 minutes or just give up.

In the morning we therefore walked on a small road to Fiesole to get the bus there to Firenze, which was very dangerous.
In the evening coming back from Firenze to the hotel we had to take a taxi (EUR 25)
The hotel has a pool, but no service.

Unique Quality: The place is quiet.
The hotel and rooms are clean, but a low three star quality.
The room was cold, although the season and weather justified heating.
