Hotel Aline - Great Place to stay in Florence!

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on March 29, 2005

Booked online at HotelAline.com. Roberto, the owner, responded instantly via email and confirmed everything. We were concerned as we had never been to Florence before about how to get around, what to see, etc. He took time to book reservations at the top museums for us prior to our arrival.
When we got there, he gave us the best room (#14) at the end of the hall with private shower and balcony. He was so kind and helpful.. words cannot describe how much nicer he made our trip. Gave us suggestions on where to go, things we should see.. small towns to visit..
For a single star hotel, it was super clean, VERY quite (5th floor) and exactly what we needed.
Could not ask for anything more.

Unique Quality: The hotel is simple:
Room with a small balcony, small shower, desk and decent bed. No television or anything like that.
Extremely quite in a very busy part of Florence. (only 3 blocks from Accedemia).
Very clean and organized.

But, the owner, Roberto, made the trip everything we dreamed it could be. He took a lot of time with us to help us have a great time in his city. (that he spoke perfect english was also a treat!).
I cannot recommend this hotel enough for those on a budget .

Directions: North of Train Station. Directly west of Accedemia.
