Beautiful Retreat
We stayed in the 500 block of rooms, which is not in the main building. We absolutely loved our double room. The room and bathroom were spotless and creatively designed. The breakfast room and reception area were orderly as well. The staff was incredibly helpful, desptie the fact that we were with a rather large group. The hotel also hosts banquets in the attached restaurant.
Unique Quality: Despite being outside the city (5 km is relatively easy if you have a car but there was traffic at times), the location wasn't a huge problem as we were traveling with a guide. When I go to Florence on my own, I prefer to stay in the city center. But, in the middle of a whirlwind week, this was a nice break from the city.
