A wonderful Guest House!

This is a small guesthouse. You almost want to call it a B&B, but there is no Breakfast. There is also no AC. That being said, Marcella is a wonderful woman! It was like having a grandma in Florence! She was so sweet, and thankfully my cousin speaks way more Italian than I do! But we had a good time, and she is so expressive even though my Italian is so bad, I could get the feeling and gest of what she was saying. She was so friendly, she is what makes this place worth it. Make sure you book in advance!! This is her home afterall but if she is full, she might have space at her daughters just down the street. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The place was clean, welcoming and homey. There are photos of family, art, and former guests to look at. And she is always willing to talk to you about your current shopping adventures!

Unique Quality: It is cheaper and pretty central to most of the sites in Florence. But the best part is Marcella.
