Cardinal accomodation
We stayed in this hotel in the beginning and end of our trip to Tuscany.
It was clean, the service was pleasant, and it was very close to the Duomo.
The rooms are all named after different cardinals. The difference in the sizes of the two rooms that we stayed in on each occassion really surprised me, given that the price of each was the same.
Unforunately, it is located on the 5th floor. Something we had not taken into account when packing our luggage... So it was a long hall up and down.
Unique Quality: The hotel was a renaissance palace that a cardinal lived in. The hotel was recently renovated and reopened (May 2004).
