Residenza Giulia is the penthouse of a mid-century moderne apartment building just out of the tourist area of Florence, a few blocks from the main SMN train station. The rooms have terraces where you can sit, look across the city or down at the cars in the busy street or eat breakfast. We played cards out there as well. You do have to walk for 10-20 minutes to get to the main sights, which we didn't mind.
You order breakfast and it is delivered to your room on a tray. It was pretty good, and there were more than the usual options. There's free wifi, although our room was just far enough from wherever it is that it could cut out. The room was clean and spacious, although the beds were not the most comfortable of our trip - the mattresses might be getting towards the end of their careers.
Overall, we really liked this B&B, especially the terrace.
