Residenza Manzoni

We arrived late in the day to a wonderful welcome. There was someone there to greet us and give us a couple of ideas for dinner. Granted the "breakfast" was a platter of pre-packaged edibles, it still was better than most. I just don't think Europe has quite grasped the idea of eating a plentiful breakfast in lieu of more fattening and filling meals.

Unique Quality: Before we left for Italy, I had contacted all the "innkeepers" for help in obtaining tickets to local sights - this place was just the best in helping us. Susanna got everything we asked and more. She even helped booked us for a private showing of one of the local galleries - something I knew was special.

Directions: Hard to find - best to get a taxi to show you - just on the corner of Piazza Beccaria.
