Livorno Tip
Was arrival. This was the port of entry for most of the places last visited in February 1997. Didn't see much of the town as we went to Florence quickly. The story of that week is being created in the 1997 travelogue on my Florence page.

How can I get from the Livorno cruise dock to the Eurotrain station?
Hi, I'm not an expert on Livorno but I don't think that there is a bus that goes directly from the port to the station so you might have to change buses in the centre of town. We walked from the station into town and then on to the port but that took about 45 minutes at least. A taxi might be your best option.
There is some info at www.atl.livorno.it/
Many of the cruise lines have shuttle buses that go from the docks to the Piazza Grande where you can take a taxi or bus to the train Station.
Thanks very much!

it can be dangerous to swim here when it's windy, like today, cos the currents are really strong and u don't wanna crash your bodyt against the huge rocks under the water
but when the sea is flat, you can swim and it's really clean
... for the second gent.
The paramedics patted him a lot too. It seemed to comfort him.
They loaded him into the back. He was talking voluably, waving his hands about, so I think he'll live.
I really wanted to take a photo of him being loaded, but it seemed a bit off.
The young helpers wheeled his vespa away.
I continued on my way.
Just a couple of bingles in Livorno.
No need to take it too seriously.
even at night, Livorno is very lively, it's full of young people in the streets and in the bars, since it's never too cold, they just hang out at the beach pier (Moletto d'antignano), or in the main square (Piazza Attias)
enjoy!
Would u ever think this is Toscany, Italy?
well, this is Livorno, the coolest city for young people to live in Italy I guess
there is no other place where people are open-minded , against ***head Berlusconi and friendly, but mostly people in Livorno won't speak behind your back!
