A treasure villa
We didn´t stay at this Villa, but as it was very close to our accommodation we had a look and since the very first moment we found it, I like it a lot. Every detail is treated with care and it is a peaceful spot only 5 min away from the walls.
Unique Quality: Everything seems delicate and the feeling is like being "at home".

A great place to stay in Lucca
Villa Romantica was a perfect place to stay while we toured Lucca. The location was perfect if you are arriving by car. The hotel was situated just outside the walls and it was only about a two blocks to town. Driving inside of Lucca, the walled city, could really be a problem with narrow pedestrian only streets so we decided to stay outside the walls.
Hotel Romantica turned out to be the great choice for us. The rooms were large and updated. The hotel was small but it was just the way we like it. They even had a pool. The owners were absolutely great. Very friendly, and accommodating. Bikes are available also.

Wonderful hotel a bit outside of the Old Town
A unique hotel. It is really a big, grandious house more than a hotel. I guess it just has 4 or 5 rooms, so you are well taken care of.
The rooms are big, it is an old and wonderful feeling in the hotel. The breakfast was good, especially a chocolate-strawberry-dessert for breakfast that is the best dessert I have ever eaten at a hotel.
You can borrow bikes for free, but unfortunately you will need it. Because the hotel is a bit outside of the real reason of coming to Lucca - the old town. It is about 15 minutes walk, and there is no good public transport. With with a bike it is OK.
I think the hotel mostly has guests from 40-50 years or up. The owner raised his eyebrow when we told him we were going to a consert, and told us we had to be quiet when we returned.
Unique Quality: Swimming-pool in the garden.
Fantastic chocolate-strawberry-dessert for breakfast.

An unforgettable stay! We'll never forget our trip to Italy, also due to the wonderful week-end spent in Lucca at Villa Romantica....A lovely place.
The breakfasts were good for Italy. Meats, Cheeses, fresh bread, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juices, and for any hot drink, just ask and they will make it fresh and bring it to you.
The room were beautiful, but it was truly the people that make this establishment a place I would return to year after year.
Unique Quality: nice small Pool, garden, free use of bikes!
