Dont miss the thermal water wells. We went to a free (some are very expensive) thermal water well called Therme di Saturnia. It was a bit hard to find but you can ask the locals (its about 50 km east of Grosetto)

This is my kids Louise and Niklas taking a bath in the "smelly" but warm water
