Peace, beauty and comfort
Relais Ortaglia is a beautiful, traditional Tuscan farmhouse, with a small vineyard and 5 rooms. We were very well looked after by the housekeeper and her husband, with whom we enjoyed an alfresco barbecue on our last night, complete with tomatos and head blowing chillis picked just feet away. Breakfasts were fantastic too. I would go back in an instant, cannot recommend this place enough. The town of Montepulciano is about 25mins walk, much of it uphill, but that just means you can justify eating more of the unbelievable food available.
Unique Quality: The swimming pool and jacuzzi are surrounded by stunning views which we had completely to ourselves.
The property is beautiful, the bedrooms with jacuzzi baths, racks of fantastic wine and traditional furnishings.
The gardens have the most delicious plums and figs - amazing eaten straight from the tree.
