Hotel dei Fiori: Nightmare!!!
During the day you can be tricked by seeming closeness of this hotel to main places of the town (hospital, center and so on). In fact in the evening you'll see that the block is desolate and unfriendly place. Inside the hotel the same thing - dirty, unfriendly and poor rooms and furniture. I spent there 1 night - I thounght that I'll be attacked by some robbers - people in other rooms looked like some kind of gypsies or criminals. My single-bed room was tiny and very poor. I even had to park the car in such way that I could see it from the window and checked it few time during the night.
And the price was 51 euro for 1 night - the same price was in San Lorenzo Hotel (please see my review), but it's a totally different hotel!!!

Santa Vecchio(from Seaview Travel Site: No. L407): Villa in Tuscany
The most wonderful villa in Tuscany!! I am sure there are others, but I loved this place. It is located about 20 minutes from Lucca in a town called Pescia. The villa itself sleeps comfortably 8 people. It sits atop a very steep hill and overlooks the valley below, with olive trees, fig trees, and other fruit tree varieties. The pool is fantastic. If you are looking for seclusion, but easy access to the road and autostrade, this is the place. The owners are very friendly (practice your Italian before going) and their teenage son (who speaks English) is a delight, as is their little dog, Whisky. They greet you the first day to collect the security deposit and then come back at the end of the stay to bid you farewell. There is plenty of food in the nearby markets of Pescia.
Unique Quality: Pool, outstanding views, charming villa with rustic feel and well apoined furniture.
